Landa & Associates maintains a deliberately small, deliberately selective network of fractional nonprofit professionals. We take on a limited number of new associates each year, and every person who joins has been personally reviewed by Kat and David Landa. We also maintain confidentiality for applicants and associates.
We are looking for professionals with genuine depth — not generalists with broad familiarity, but specialists who have done the work, built the programs, and delivered results in their area of focus. People who lead with integrity, communicate clearly, and understand that when they show up for a client, they represent excellence in this industry.

Demonstrated Expertise
A track record of meaningful results in a specific area of nonprofit leadership. We are not looking for generalists.
Sector Depth
Direct experience working with or inside nonprofit organizations. You understand the mission-driven environment and what makes it distinct.
Professional Standing
Relevant credentials, institutional affiliations, or a body of work that speaks for itself. CFRE, CPA, and similar designations are valued but not required.
Values Alignment
A genuine commitment to mission-driven work. We are selective about who represents this network, and culture fit matters as much as credentials.

Review
Kat and David personally review every application. We look at your background, your credentials, and the alignment between your expertise and our client needs.
Conversation
If there is a potential fit, we'll invite you to a conversation. We'll take a deep dive into your experience and your relational approach — a chance for both sides to determine whether the relationship makes sense.
Welcome
Associates who join the network receive a formal welcome, an orientation to how we work and how engagements are staffed, and training on engagement expectations and contract logistics.
